SMALL WEDDINGS & ELOPEMENTS

This one’s easy, I eloped.

I love focusing on the couple, capturing your special day, and telling your story through glances. Small weddings and elopements allow for more intimacy and more time spent with the people closest to you both. They’re simpler than a big wedding but just as grand. These photographs are timeless.

FOUR THINGS [I] LOOKED FOR WHEN BOOKING A PHOTOGRAPHER FOR MY ELOPEMENT:

  1. Style and portfolio. I like natural, candid shots, so I dug into many photographer shots and tried to find something I could imagine myself in.

  2. Responsiveness. When I finally contacted photographers, it was important that they responded to my inquiry and my questions in a timely manner. It was a big day, and I had never done this before, so this was important.

  3. Payment and contract processing; it needs to feel professional and easy to check off.

  4. Wedding expertise. My photographer knew the area I was getting married in well, so he was very resourceful when bouncing off ideas and referring other vendors. This gave me more confidence and trust in who we had chosen for our big day.
