Engagement Photoshoot: Arsh & Sanjay

Arsh, Sanjay and I got together for this photoshoot last Tuesday around 4/4:30pm. Given the unpredictability of Malibu parking and LA traffic, we got to the beach with a little wiggle room, to reduce the affect of the unexpected.

This was the very first photo of this engagement shoot:

It is INSANE isn’t it? Usually we take a few minutes to warm up- I do, they do. You don’t just launch into something so sweet and colorful in shot one… but I guess these two are a category of their own.

I am so thankful to Arsh for trusting me to capture her engagement photos. I could tell, from the very beginning, she had a vision to make the shoot grand, romantic, and memorable. If you’ve visited my Instagram or my Portraits Page, you’ll notice that Arsh and I have worked together in the past. It’s always amazing when you get to make friends with the people you’re capturing. Even better, when they let you capture the different chapters in their lives.

This photoshoot was my first time meeting her fiance, Sanjay, and you can immediately tell that they’re a great fit. They were so in sync throughout the entire shoot- building off each other’s personalities, telling jokes and overall making it a great time. This is always the fun part about couples photography, you get to play off each other and the small interactions are what makes for beautiful photos.
